A Hidden Gem in the Eden Valley

We have always loved the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales National Park
so when looking for our perfect property, we opted for the  Eden Valley which is nestled in between.
We were looking for a home, not a business, but when we saw  this place we fell instantly in love with it.
After 14 months renovating and a crash course in gardening, we are excited to share our hidden gem with you.

Dining & Drinking

Dine together at the 7 metre long live edge table in the dining room. Have a cocktail in the lounge bar. Relax at one of many communal areas including the covered balcony that overlooks the courtyard and waterfall.

Feeling Good

Wellness & Spa Facilities

A heated outdoor shower and then relax in the hot tub, just a few feet away from your own, private waterfall. Cross the bridge and warm yourself in the barrel sauna before taking a cold dip. If you want a work out, there’s a gym.

ACCOMODATION

10 Bedrooms & 8 Bathrooms

Individually designed bedrooms and bathrooms laid out over three floors. Every bedroom is named after a sheep that can be found locally, and you will find a hand made version if you look 😊

We love our local wildlife and its a haven for them.  Residents include red squirrels, hares, kingfishers and timed right you can see the salmon jump.

Our Little Furry Friends

We are not just dog friendly, we are dog crazy! As such, we are happy for you to have 2 well behaved pouches with you on your holiday.

There are fantastic facilities to enjoy from sauna to hot tub and games room with bar. I cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful place I’ve had the good fortune to stay at.

Like staying in a real life fairytale…

Theres not many genuine hidden gems in this country anymore but we definitely found one here..

The only thing prettier than the house itself is the setting, which is a beautiful valley with its own woodland, meadow and waterfall.

We were able to enjoy dinners together around a magnificent feature table, movie nights on an enormous TV by the open fire, plus evening drinks in the hot tub after a spell in the outdoor sauna.

The Waterfall Retreat offers a truly unique experience for all who stay and visit.
